Meet Laura

Welcome! I'm Laura,

I believe families are happier when each member is thriving and can do what they love! I have seen many families struggle to find solutions to their health concerns, or give up doing the things they love because of their health. My passion is helping people help themselves, and get them feeling well so they can truly live their lives. I have a knack for finding obstacles to health, whether physical, mental, or emotional.  I am convinced that everyone can feel better and with the proper tools and support, you can stay feeling better. I believe the mind, body, and spirit must all work in harmony to promote healing. I am passionate about living and promoting a healthy lifestyle and motivating others to do the same!

I believe when we are given support we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. I am interested in keeping you at your best so you can live the fulfilling life you aspire to. I know the path to health is not straight; that is why I take the time to hear where you have come from and where it is you want to go. To learn more about how I can help you get your life back on track, book a complimentary 15 minute meet and greet.

Let me worry about your health so you can spend more time with your family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

why a naturopathic doctor?

In my first year in Kinesiology at Western University, my goal was to enter the health profession, but I was unsure what form this would take. It was not until I met with a Naturopathic Doctor that everything changed. I had never even heard of naturopathic medicine before, but after only a few minutes of conversation, I realized that this was my fit. Naturopathic medicine treats the individual person, not just their condition. Naturopathic Doctors are medically trained to find the root cause of each condition and use natural therapies to find solutions. We work with you to better your health and become your best self. Naturopathic medicine combines my love of teaching and health with my passion of truly making a difference in people’s lives!

Laura grew up on a farm outside of Petrolia where she spent her summers on the soccer field and winters at the hockey rink. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Western University where she was honoured to receive the Gold Medal for graduating at the top of her class. She went on to complete her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. While at CCNM she was part of the Naturopathic Student Association and was the student representative for the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.  Laura completed her internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic at Brampton Civic Hospital. She has also completed additional certification as a Naturopathic Doula, and is in the process of completing training to become a Lactation Consultant.  Laura's family practice focuses on fertility, breastfeeding, and women’s health. Laura also has a special interest in headaches, joint pain, and digestive disorders.
